It's been a pretty eventful month for our little Asha. This month she learned to crawl and she got two new teeth! She has also discovered the joy of food and can't seem to get enough of it. Her favourites are peas, sweet potatoes, prunes, green beans, bananas, applesauce, squash....well, actually everything she's tried!
Asha loves her new mode of transportation (herself instead of Carl, Joel or myself carrying her) and is starting to get into the movies, into the toys in the kids' room, and other places where she's not suppose to be. It's pretty funny and then slightly maddening how determined she is!
Carl has also discovered that when they watch T.V. together, she insists on holding the remote. That will be a skill that will come in handy when she gets married.
Today was a pretty good day for Asha. It started off with her diaper busting all inside her sleeper. In my 5 years of parenting and 16 years of babysitting, I have never had a disposable diaper burst and leak out its gel contents. YUCK! So this morning Asha had a bath.
She was such a happy girl at common meal and for pictures on the grass. She had a great nap this afternoon and is a real pro at falling asleep on her own. Staying asleep at night....well that's a different story.
It's been a great month, and a great day for Asha.
